The College Application

In order of complexity, right after developing the college list comes completing the college application. Some colleges have several levels of their own, college-specific applications.  Some exclusively use the Common Application.  And some colleges have both and will accept either.  Knowing which application colleges have, and which one to use when there is a choice, is a matter of discussion as  students get to this point in their planning timetable.  Seay Educational Consulting will talk clients through the application process and review applications for effectiveness and completeness prior to their submitting them on line.  Within the application itself, the essay is a major component that can be daunting, though it certainly need not be. Seay Educational Consulting will help clients determine their most readable (and most writeable) essay topics when they are given a choice, and will discuss with them the effectiveness of their syntax, mechanics, tone, and logic as they work through each essay’s development and, ultimately, its production.
