Gap Years

Although less common in America than in Europe, taking a year off before college in order to avail oneself of a season of planned activities and/or travel is becoming more popular each year.  Known as a Gap year, these out-of-school opportunities can make the difference for many young people who don’t know what it is they would be accomplishing were they to attend college right out of high school. Obviously not for everyone, the gap year should only be considered seriously if there is a plan that goes along with the gap.  The one without the other could spell disaster.  Based on serious student planning, Seay Educational Consulting will work with clients to find a fitting gap year experience that will smooth the way for matriculation at a right-fit college or university a year following graduation.
